Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Jesús Luzardo is making his debut as a Players Trust Ambassador for the 2026 season. He may be new to the group, but he has a longstanding commitment of giving back to the places he cares about.

One of those places is South Florida, where Jesús grew up. Through the Jesús Luzardo Family Foundation, he uplifts and empowers children to thrive. Annually, Jesús hosts a free baseball clinic for kids at his high school alma matter and sponsors the Chris Hixon Foundation in memory of his high school athletic director, which provides athletic scholarships to students in Broward County, Florida.

Now in Philly, the Jesús Luzardo Family Foundation is donating $150 to the Boys & Girls Club of Philadelphia for every strikeout he throws. Last year, Jesús also inaugurated the Luzardo’s Cheesesteaks for Charity, raising over $20,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Philadelphia.

Jesús embodies what it means to be a Players Trust Ambassador, and we are so grateful to have him on our team. Thank you, Jesús, for all you do!

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Blake Perkins makes a difference on and off the field, and as an Ambassador for the Players Trust, he helps his fellow Players lead in their communities.

April is Autism Awareness Month, and Blake uses his platform to bring tremendous advocacy to the cause - one that's near and dear to him. Over the years, Blake has helped raise proceeds for Autism United's Reimagine Autism Gala in Milwaukee and directed his 2025 Players Trust Ambassador Grant to Autism United.

In addition to his advocacy for those with autism, Blake participated in Milwaukee Brewers Play Ball Weekend, welcoming nearly 1,000 kids from around Wisconsin to participate in the event. Alongside Brewer’s teammates and alumni, Blake coached the kids in baseball and softball and taught them how to use their skills on the field to build positive relationships throughout their lives.

As an Ambassador for the Players Trust, Blake will continue to connect his teammates with philanthropic initiatives, so they too can make a positive impact in their communities. Keep up the inspiring work, Blake!

We're back with another Matching Monday - highlighting the Players who are making a difference with our Double Play Matching Gift Program.

⚾ Up this week, it's Paul Skenes.

Skenes put his matching gift donation towards the Gary Sinise Foundation (GSF) , which honors and serves defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need through a variety of programming and events. “I work with GSF because I believe veterans and first responders answer a call that most people are not willing or able to answer, and we do not do enough to support them as a society,” says Skenes. His commitment to driving positive impact is further demonstrated by his annual fundraiser, in which Skenes donates $100 for every strikeout he records during the season.

The Double Play Matching Gifts Program allows Players to maximize their impact on the communities they care about. Active Major League, Minor League, and former Major League Players are eligible to participate in this initiative.

Arizona Diamondbacks right fielder Corbin Carroll is a leader on and off the field, and as an Ambassador for the Players Trust, he brings that leadership to life beyond the game.

In his role as an Ambassador, Corbin is actively engaged across much of the Players Trust’s work, helping players connect their passions to purpose and amplify their impact off the diamond. This includes the MLB Players STEM League, a baseball‑inspired educational tool that uses the game to spark learning and creativity. Corbin is featured as one of just 50 players embedded throughout the program, helping bring its innovative curriculum to life for students nationwide.

Beyond STEM League, Corbin uses his platform to support children’s programs and initiatives dedicated to empowering, celebrating, and inspiring kids. His commitment to giving back also extends to animal welfare, a cause close to his heart. In 2025, Corbin directed his Players Trust Ambassador Grant to Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, an organization providing critical care, food, and shelter to animals in need.

Through his leadership, Corbin Carroll continues to make a meaningful difference in communities everywhere. Keep up the amazing work, Corbin!

Introducing the 2026 Players Trust Ambassadors!

These Players are empowered with a vital role: connecting their teammates to the philanthropic resources and tools offered by the Players Trust.

Ambassadors will be some of the first Players to experience new Players Trust programs and opportunities, allowing them to help their teammates get more involved with the causes and communities they care about. Each Ambassador supports a nonprofit of their choice with a grant on behalf of the Players Trust, reinforcing the program's commitment to meaningful, Player-driven impact.

Pitcher Jack White wanted to help college students from diverse backgrounds leave their mark on baseball and softball.

"My Dad started Fair Ball Foundation a few years back. He's always involved me in the process and we've been working on it together."

⚾ Fair Ball Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides need-based financial support, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for college-bound African American, Hispanic, Latino, Asian American, Pacific Islander American, and Native American students.

Jack heard about Players' Purpose, a Players Trust program that empowers Minor League Players to bring their charitable ideas to life.

"We took a look and said, 'This would be an awesome opportunity to help some kids out.'"

🤝 Jack secured funding to help Fair Ball Foundation train even more collegiate athletes for success on the field, and in life. It's all part of Jack's mission to make the game a better place for future generations.

With the new baseball season in action, we're excited for Players to continue making a lasting impact in their communities.

🚀 Since launching last Wednesday and orbiting Earth, NASA’s Artemis II crew is set for the lunar flyby!

We're thrilled to cheer the four astronauts making this historic trip - we know the value of good teammates and what it means to support them, as they support you when the stakes are high (even if we've never left Earth's atmosphere).

We asked Pitcher Isaac Mattson who he'd want for his crew if he was traveling into space. One of his Pirates teammates, an energetic former teammate, a trusted family member - you'll just have to watch the video. We're excited to share another message of encouragement to the Artemis II crew... and to imagine some of our Players up there with them.
