Know early. At Tina's Wish, we believe that the most effective way to fight ovarian cancer is to diagnose it at its earliest, most curable stage or to prevent it from ever developing. Since 2008, we have raised more than $17 million for scientific research into the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer. Thanks to the support of our loyal donors, we are accelerating the pace of progress towards saving women's lives. Together, we can make Tina’s Wish a reality.

Today, The Honorable Tina Brozman would have celebrated her 74th birthday. We honor Tina’s legacy as a judge, mentor, wife, daughter, and mother. Tina laid the groundwork for this organization and continues to be our inspiration for advancing early detection research and giving women and their families a fighting chance against this disease.

Last night, 1,200 supporters came together for our 2026 Gala, and the energy was unforgettable. 🌟

Together, we raised more than $4.6 million to advance early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer.

We were honored to celebrate Jenny Box Cotton and Lauren Krueger of KKR and Gary Holtzer of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP as our 2026 Tina Brozman Mentoring Award recipients, and to present The Honorable Martin Glenn with our Lifetime of Service Award.

On Thursday, October 22, our Chicago Gathering: A Night of the Arts will bring our community together for an inspiring evening celebrating creativity, connection and hope.

Watch talented local artists, each with a personal connection to cancer, create original works inspired by themes of hope and early detection. The evening will also feature a special reading by author, professor and ovarian cancer experient Nami Mun, who will share an excerpt about her journey from her essay featured in The Atlantic.

Allison was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in October 2022. With her husband, family, and friends by her side, including her grandson Chase, she faced treatment with tremendous optimism and courage, grateful to the doctors and nurses who cared for her every step of the way.

Now in remission, Allison shares her story to remind others that a positive mindset can be a powerful part of healing. In June, she and Chase walked the Runway together at our Runway for Research event.

For 49 years, Pat has worked as a physical therapist in New York City, guiding patients through acute and chronic disabilities.

That same experience shapes the optimism she brings to her own ovarian cancer journey. She's the proud mother of three and Nanna to seven grandchildren, and still works full time while making room for family, friends, and long walks with her hound dog, Brooklyn.
