Thank you to Nami Mun for sharing her ovarian cancer journey with such honesty and vulnerability in this powerful The Atlantic essay.

Her story captures something too many women experience: dismissing symptoms and assuming it's probably nothing. Ovarian cancer symptoms can be subtle, persistent, and easy to dismiss, which is why awareness, self-advocacy, and paying attention to persistent symptoms matter so much.

Thank you, Nami, for using your voice to help raise awareness and encourage others to listen to theirs. 🩵https://www.theatlantic.com/family/2026/05/ovarian-cancer-silent-killer/687132/

In honor of Infertility Awareness Month, this week on What to Know Down Below®, two members of the Tina's Wish community come together for an honest conversation about pregnancy loss, breast cancer, fertility preservation, and navigating reproductive decisions after a diagnosis.

Our good friend Rachel Nicks, breast cancer survivor and Founder of Birth Queen, shares her deeply personal journey, from motherhood and pregnancy loss to the fertility decisions she faced after cancer treatment.

Joining her is Tina's Wish Board Member Meaghan Repko DeShong, who brings empathy, insight, and her own lived experience to the conversation.

As always with these two, the discussion is refreshingly real, filled with honesty, vulnerability, unexpected laughs, and reminders that there is no one right path through loss, fertility, cancer, or parenthood.
