Veterinarians International

Veterinarians International VI grows and empowers an international community of veterinarians ensuring animals and people thrive.

Veterinary health professionals are an integral part of protecting animal and human health. Approximately 75% of all new human diseases are of animal origin. Despite these alarming statistics, there is no national organization that unites the strengths of the United States into a single network of veterinary health professionals which can provoke and support a national and global health platform f

or change. The objectives of Veterinarians International are to fill this much-needed niche by 1) discovering and uniting reputable international organizations with a global health mission and providing appropriate expertise and capacity from our network of professionals to their projects and 2) to showcase and support selected international projects and programs through the development of innovative US-based fundraising campaigns. Our mission is to use sound veterinary expertise to enhance the health of humans, animals and the environment in need. Our vision is to bring veterinary health professionals together to work in creating an environment where animals and people live safely in harmony with nature.

Every animal deserves access to quality veterinary care, no matter where they live. ❀️🐾

Thanks to a generous donation received in late 2025, Veterinarians International was able to support Animal Relief for Rural Communities (ARRC) in bringing lifesaving veterinary care to animals in underserved rural communities across South Africa during the first six months of this year. Together, we're helping prevent suffering before it starts and giving animals the chance to live healthier lives.

Every vaccination, treatment, and surgery represents an animal that received the care it needed. It's a powerful reminder that even a small gift can make a lasting impact in communities where access to veterinary care is limited.

Thank you for making this work possible and for helping create healthier futures for animals and the communities who care for them.

For one year, our Mobile Vet Clinic has been on the move helping dedicated vets from our partner organizations to reach remote communities, respond to wildlife emergencies, support vaccination campaigns, and create hands-on learning opportunities for future wildlife veterinarians.

These aren't just numbers. They're healthier animals, stronger communities, and a growing commitment to protecting wildlife and the people who live alongside it.

Swipe to see what one year of partnership and support looks like. ❀️

Join us in sharing our gratitude for the hero veterinarians caring for animals out in the field as part of the Kenya Wildlife Service, Laikipia Rabies Vaccination Campaign, Laikipia County Government Vet Services, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and Loisaba Conservancy.

That's a wrap! πŸŽ‰πŸ˜πŸ¦πŸΎ

Our third cohort of the Vet Training Program has officially completed their hands-on wildlife field training experience.

For many of these aspiring veterinarians, this was their first time working directly with wildlife in the field (or even just seeing them up close!), an experience that challenged, inspired, and helped shape their future careers.

But the real story is best told by the students themselves. Swipe through to read their reflections and see the impact your support made possible.

Because of you, 20 future veterinarians were able to gain an experience that many described as life-changing. Thank you for believing in them and helping turn this opportunity into reality. ❀️

You made it happen. ❀️

Thanks to your generosity, last week the first group of Kenyan students in this year's Vet Training Program headed out to conservancy for hands-on wildlife training, working alongside experienced veterinarians and conservation professionals. Today, the second group begins their journey.

Just weeks ago, we asked for your help to make this critical opportunity possible for the future wildlife caretakers of Kenya. Together, we defied the odds and found creative solutions to meet our goal, sending all 20 students out for this once-in-a-lifetime training experience.

Because of your support, these students are stepping beyond the classroom and into real conservation work with animals and wildlife.

Thank you for making this opportunity possible for these young aspiring veterinarians. β˜ΊοΈπŸ’š

This day always feels like a reminder to slow down and really look at the world around us; the forests, oceans, and wildlife that quietly sustain our lives every day. ☺️

It's easy to forget how connected we are to nature until we take a moment to notice it. And once we do, it's hard to unsee.

πŸ’š Today is about gratitude, awareness, and small actions that protect the planet we all share.

Happy World Environment Day 🌎

🚨 48 hours to go 🚨

Last year, 20 veterinary students received the opportunity of a lifetime; gaining hands-on experience caring for wildlife, learning from experts, and building skills that will help protect Kenya's wildlife for years to come.

Today, we're just ONE student away from making it happen again. With only hours left in our campaign, we need your help to fund the final future veterinarian and complete our team of 20.

One student. One opportunity. One last push.

19 Kenyan vet students have already been funded. Just ONE MORE remains, but we only have 6 days to make this happen!

These aren’t just students, they’re the next generation of vets who will be first responders when a cheetah needs emergency care, when a zebra is stuck in a snare, or when a rhino needs to be sedated for treatment.

You can donate to send them to a week-long wildlife conservancy, and a lifetime of skills to protect Kenya’s most vulnerable animals.

We are so close we can almost see it, just a small push away from reaching the full goal. 🎯

🩺 Because of you, 18 students now have their opportunity for the Vet Training Program secured.

Just a little more stands between us and completing this for all 20 future veterinarians in Kenya, giving them the chance to shape wildlife conservation through first-hand learning alongside veterinarians in wildlife conservancies.

Help us cross the finish line. Donate today and be part of making this final step possible. πŸ‘‰ https://gofund.me/93b89f8c6
