El Taller Latin Americano is celebrating its 42nd year as a community-based non-profit arts and education institution in NYC and globally, online... From Spanish classes to concerts, art exhibits, poetry nights and more...
We have something for everyone! El Taller Latino Americano (The Latin American Workshop) is a New-York based 501(c)(3) non-profit institution founded in 1979 to bridge the gap
between Latin Americans and North Americans through the language of art, dance, and music. El Taller's NYC venue is located in the heart of our community at 225 W. 99th street, where we offer a varied menu of language classes, arts programming, music, and more. Before the pandemic, over 500 people would meet each month at El Taller's space to share ideas, participate in the classes, and to find creative inspiration and refuge in New York City. Today, we offer all this programming and more, online, and will continue our programs in the new and exciting hybrid world of our physical NYC venue and our global social media platforms when the pandemic is over!
