What an inspiring day of youth leadership and peacebuilding! 🌍

GPFA-USA was proud to collaborate with PeaceJam for a special youth event bringing peace education, leadership, and service to high school students at Information Technology High School in Queens NY.

Joined by Nobel Peace Laureate Leymah Gbowee, students explored how they can become changemakers and make a difference in their own communities.

We’re grateful to PeaceJam for helping us empower the next generation of leaders!

Remembering Gloria Steinem 🕊️

The Gbowee Peace Foundation Africa-USA mourns the passing of Gloria Steinem, a pioneering feminist and lifelong champion for women and girls.

We are grateful for the powerful connection she shared with our founder, Nobel Peace Laureate Leymah Gbowee, including their conversation at 92NY around Rise, Girl, Rise.

Gloria’s courage, voice, and commitment to sisterhood inspired generations of women to lead and create change.

We honor her legacy by continuing to rise—and make room for the girls who come next.

Rest in power, Gloria. Your legacy endures.
