「邦人医療支援ネットワーク　Japanese Medical Support Network 」（ジャムズネット）は、在ニューヨーク日本国総領事館仲本医務官（現在タンザニア公館勤務）とコロンビア大学の本間俊一教授とが協力され、ニューヨーク周辺の医療系邦人支援グループ（NPO）同士の情報交換、相互連携の構築を目的として２００６年１月に発足いたしました。米国日本人医師会の元会長であるコロンビア大学の本間俊一教授を代表として、在ニューヨーク日本国総領事館医務班が側面支援を行っています。また、ニューヨーク日系人会ならびにニューヨーク市保健精神衛生局の坂神けいこ氏にアドバイザーをお願いしています。
