Promoting UNION Labor in the Locations Dept. for the Tri-State Film & Episodic Television Production Industry.

We represent Location Scouts, Assistant Location Managers, Location Coordinators, and Location Assistants. The United Locations Department Workers of NYC & NJ (ULDW-NYC) is the locations department union for film and television productions in the Tri-State area. Our members primarily work in Network Television and Studio Feature Films, but many are part of Teamsters Local 817 or the Director's Gui

ld of America, as well. We are the largest locations department union in New York City/NJ. We are continually growing and building a strong solidarity movement. ULDW-NYC advocates for fair labor practices and wages for Assistant Location Managers, Location Scouts, Location Coordinators, and Location Assistants working for Network TV and Studio Feature Film, in the Tri-State area. Our unity improves the film industry's efficiency and productivity everyday, during prep and on set. Our goal is to sign a contract with our employers and join other departments on the job--as union members--respected and compensated accordingly.
