The New York Coalition of Asian American Health has been a completely volunteer-driven group supporting the mental health of the Asian American community since its founding. We have lobbied for the development of Asian inpatient units in NYC, held first-of-its kind conferences, and built multi-generational coalitions of mental health and community wellness professionals.
Over three decades since the organizing efforts started, NYCAAMH continues its operations based on the contributions of people who dedicate their free time or personal funds toward the collective healing of our various communities within NYC and beyond.
We know that the past year, or rather, the past many years have been challenging, and if we focus on what we want to cultivate as we move forward, we wish to continue onward with the theme we centered on when we began our organizing calendar this year: Rising Together in Hope!
We have many projects in the works for 2026 with a new dedicated group of volunteers, and we look forward to sharing them with you soon. For now, whether it is to help the healer or promote broader change for our interconnected communities, please consider giving to the New York Coalition for Asian American Mental Health: https://www.nycaamh.org/checkout/donate?donatePageId=640fc30c4c8a4104157127f4.
Your tax-deductible donation will support cultural, structural, and personal change efforts that seek to promote the mental health and wellness of our communities in multiple ways. Your contribution will help support NYCAAMH on policy advocacy to improve the lives of our Asian-identified and partner community members who have been historically oppressed and overlooked.
