The Dance of the Giglio in honor of St Anthony takes place every 2nd Sunday of August, on Pleasant Ave NYC
Originated in Brusciano Italy The Giglio Society of East Harlem is a devoted group of individuals who have dedicated their lives to honor Sant' Antonio. Their love and devotion is on display each year during the Annual Italian Festival held in East Harlem, New York. They honor their Patron saint in very much the same fashion as their ancestry did and still do annually today in Brusciano by building a Giglio and dancing it in the streets of Manhattan, N.Y.

Pip’s Pit - Sponsor Spotlight! When visiting the San Gennaro Feast on Mulberry Street in Little Italy this week, run don’t walk to Pip’s Pit Sausage Stand at 179 Mulberry Street between Broome Street and Kenmare Street. They have absolutely the BEST sausage & peppers and beef & pork braciole. Ernest and Anna are some of the best people out there. And just like that! The East Harlem Giglio comes down. Thank you to EVERYONE who made this year’s Feast such a success. From the builders, members, entertainment, vendors and most importantly our 💪 Giglio Lifters! August 12-15 2027 Save the Dates for next year’s 🇮🇹 Feast!
