The Giglio Society of East Harlem is a devoted group of individuals who have dedicated their lives to honor Sant' Antonio.

Est in 1908 The Dance of the Giglio in honor of St Antonio takes place every 2nd Sunday of August, on Pleasant Ave NYC
Originated in Brusciano, Italy Their love and devotion is on display each year during the Annual Italian Festival held in East Harlem, New York. They honor their Patron saint in

very much the same fashion as their ancestry did and still do annually today in Brusciano by building a Giglio and dancing it in the streets of Manhattan, N.Y. See more at: http://www.eastharlemgiglio.org

Happy & Blessed Feast Day of our Patron Saint Anthony!
We lift O’ Giglio in honor of Sant’ Antonio di Padua. In the first picture, on the left is Phil Bruno’s Grandmother Concetta Vivolo & Aunt Concetta Rocco seemingly watching the carrying on of the tradition to East Harlem Giglio Capos Victor Dellicurti & Phil Bruno,. Phil’s grandfather Giaccino Vivolo founded the East Harlem Giglio di Sant’ Antonio originating in Brusciano, Italy 🇮🇹 and brought to East Harlem 🇺🇸 with our founding in 1908.
We are proud to continue the tradition of O’ Giglio Di Sant’ Antonio in East Harlem 118 years later!
Please join us this year on Pleasant Ave, NYC August 6-9th.
Our annual procession with the Saint Anthony Statue is Saturday, August 8 at noon.
We lift the Giglio on Sunday, August 9
