We've gone international! πŸ¦˜πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Funny Girls is thrilled to welcome our very first school partner outside the US: St Hilda's Anglican School for Girls in Perth, Western Australia.

What does girls' leadership look like in your corner of the world?

03/05/2026

What if girls learned early that there are no limits to the ideas they can have?

That's the gift of improv β€” and the heart of Funny Girls. Our Executive Director Jenny Raymond and Julie Dumais Osborne of The Second City Training Centers break down how "yes, and..." builds the confidence muscle girls need before the world starts telling them to shrink.

No right or wrong. No failure for the sake of it. Just a safe space to find their voice β€” and the muscle memory to come back to it when life gets uncertain.

Social emotional learning is the cornerstone of building leadership skills! With Funny Girls, our students use improvβ€”yes, improv!β€”to practice and build their resiliency, empathy, agility and so much more. Want to know how? Check out the link in the comments!

9 out of 10 girls believe anyone can be a leader. 8 out of 10 say β€” "except for me."

That confidence gap is real, documented, and it shows up between ages 8 and 13. Funny Girls exists to squash it by using improv to help girls discover the leadership skills they already have.

Thanks to Okay, So Here's One for having our Executive Director Jenny Raymond on to talk about the program and our partnership with The Second City!

What would have changed for you if you'd learned this at 10?
