Legacy

In 1984, Pi Omega was chartered as the first New York City Graduate Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated. From the outset, the chapter has been heavily involved in community service initiatives such the “March of Dimes” (now currently known as the “March for Babies”), “New York AIDS Walk”, “New York Cares”, “Toys for Tots” and the “African American Day Parade.” The chapter r

emains fiscally strong and remains a constant contributor to the National body of the organization. Growth

With brothers from various nationalities, backgrounds and origins, this chapter truly represents the melting pot of its city. We remain committed to assisting in evolving undergrad brothers into grad brothers, forever bridging the gap and aiding in developing brothers in this life long commitment.
