Katarina Novakova, MSc, proudly represented Blue Horizon International at the World Economic Forum’s Global Leadership in a New Context meeting in Nashville, held in collaboration with Vanderbilt University. This high-level gathering brought together global, national, and regional leaders to explore strategies for economic resilience, scientific innovation, and sustainable long-term growth.

As a leader within BHI, Katarina emphasized our commitment to advancing longevity science, regenerative medicine, and meaningful public-private collaboration. The forum highlighted how innovation and cross-sector partnerships can enhance competitiveness and improve global health outcomes — central pillars of BHI’s mission.

Katarina engaged with key decision-makers, including the Governor, senior federal officials such as the U.S. Secretary of Energy, and leaders across government, academia, and industry. Discussions with Vanderbilt leadership — Chancellor Daniel Diermeier and Dr. Jeffrey Balser, President & CEO of Vanderbilt University Medical Center — further underscored Vanderbilt’s national impact in research and healthcare innovation.

A special moment included meeting Pulitzer Prize–winning historian Jon Meacham, who graciously signed her book and shared thoughtful reflections on leadership and civic responsibility.
