Hi neighbors! SIGN UP NOW for a 2026 FARM SPOT CSA VEGETABLE SHARE! The season runs June 18 - November 12th, 2026.
Distribution: Thursdays, 5:30 - 8:00pm, St. Mark's Church, 34th Ave/82nd St. (Note: your share must be picked up during those times - a friend/neighbor can pick up for you if you can't make it.)

A little background: Farm Spot has been the Jackson Heights CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) since 2006. There are many CSA groups around NYC. Each group is partnered with a family-run farm that grows a variety of vegetables. Members of the CSA buy a "farm share" at the beginning of the growing season, and get a box of vegetables each week (or, every other week if you prefer) from June-November. Farm Spot is partnered with Golden Earthworm Farm, a certified organic farm located in southern Vermont (they were in Long Island for many years, but moved to land they bought in VT).

πŸ₯¦- each delivery members receive 9 - 11 different types of vegetables. The farm grows over 100 different vegetables, so there are new + exciting items each week, depending on the growing season!
🌞- Everything is certified organic, and fresh (generally it's been harvested within 24 hours - straight from the field to your kitchen).
🚜- Know + support your farmers! No company acting as "middleman" means your money goes directly to support a small farm. The farm is guaranteed income because members pay at the beginning of the season, which is when they need to pay for repairs, seeds, etc.
🌎- Reduce carbon footprint. One truck brings our shares to Queens.
πŸͺ™- Economical - the cost per weekly box is lower than buying comparable (organic) produce anywhere else.
🍎- optional add-on Fruit Share available from a different farm (non-organic but responsibly farmed).
⛱️- Vacation holds are available this year!

How fun to be invited onto the Queens Out of Doors podcast to talk farming and our CSA in Forest Hills, Queens. We were one of the founding CSA's in Queens in partnership with Just Food food back in 2000. Today we grow for Forest Hills CSA as well as Farmspot CSA in Jackson Heights.

It was a great conversation. Take a listen. https://www.queensoutofdoors.com/podcast/episode83
