Parity Productions Parity Productions is a New York theatre company promoting parity by empowering women, trans, and gender-expansive artists in theatre.

Parity Productions is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit theatre company founded in 2016 by international award-winning director Ludovica Villar-Hauser. Parity is the only New York theatre company that ensures we fill at least 80% of the creative roles on our own productions—playwrights, directors, and designers—with women, trans, and gender-expansive artists and offers free tools to encourage the rest of the theatre industry to do the same.

At Parity, the work we do does not just impact what happens onstage. Our hope is that it impacts artists’ real, day-to-day lives, their ability to build sustainable careers, and the communities they create around them.

As we approach the end of our fundraising and awareness campaign (may 31!) every donation makes a real impact - even $10. 🔗 https://donate-usa.keela.co/2026-pledge4parity-donation-form
