Parity Productions

Parity Productions Parity Productions is a New York theatre company promoting parity by empowering women, trans, and gender-expansive artists in theatre.

Parity Productions is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit theatre company founded in 2016 by international award-winning director Ludovica Villar-Hauser. Parity is the only New York theatre company that ensures we fill at least 80% of the creative roles on our own productions—playwrights, directors, and designers—with women, trans, and gender-expansive artists and offers free tools to encourage the rest of the theatre industry to do the same.

THE BRIAN WILSON SPACE EXPERIMENT

Written by

Directed by Jaye Hunt

When Ken and Sarah, two total strangers, are sent to space as part of a government “experience”, they seize the chance to reinvent themselves - new names, new identities, a new kind of love. But as they (now Brian and Willie) hurtle through the stars towards Mars, their fragile, burgeoning love is tested by isolation, the memory of what was left behind, and the knowledge that there may be someone (or something) else out there with them.
