🚨 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT — EVENT CANCELLATION 🚨
It is with deep regret that we must officially announce the cancellation of The Camelid Experience NYC 2025.
1️⃣ Ongoing Middle East Crisis & Global Tensions
The escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, combined with regional instability, has made it extremely difficult — and in some cases impossible — for many of our international guests, partners, and participants to safely travel or even plan their attendance.
2️⃣ Visa Denials & Border Rejections
Several participants have faced unexpected U.S. visa refusals. Even more concerning, others holding valid visas were stopped in transit, denied entry upon arrival, and forcibly returned without clear explanation.
3️⃣ Heightened Security in New York City
The event dates now directly overlap with high-level United Nations meetings focused on Gaza and regional conflicts, leading NYC authorities to implement extremely tight security protocols. Additional unrest and protests in New York and across the U.S. have further intensified restrictions on public gatherings.
4️⃣ Growing Administrative & Political Pressure
Beyond these immediate obstacles, increased political and bureaucratic constraints have directly threatened the open, scientific, and multicultural values at the heart of this event.
👉 Let us be very clear: this cancellation is not due to any internal failure.
👉 It has been imposed upon us by external crises, security concerns, and political instability far beyond our control.
We fully recognize the impact this decision has on our participants, institutions, and on the entire global camelid community that deserves recognition, unity, and visibility.
To all those who supported us along this incredible journey: thank you for your trust and commitment.
We remain fully dedicated to our mission and are already working on new plans, dates, and formats to reunite the international camelid family in the near future.

ببالغ الأسف نعلن رسمياً عن إلغاء فعالية The Camelid Experience NYC 2025.
١️⃣ الأزمة المستمرة في الشرق الأوسط والتوترات العالمية
لقد أدت تصاعد المواجهات بين إسرائيل وإيران، إلى جانب حالة عدم الاستقرار الإقليمي، إلى تعقيد سفر العديد من ضيوفنا الدوليين وشركائنا والمشاركين، بل وجعلته مستحيلاً في بعض الحالات، سواء من ناحية السلامة أو من ناحية القدرة على التخطيط والحضور.
٢️⃣ رفض منح التأشيرات وعمليات الإبعاد على الحدود
واجه عدد من المشاركين رفضاً غير متوقع في إصدار تأشيرات الدخول إلى الولايات المتحدة. والأسوأ من ذلك، أن بعض المشاركين الحاصلين على تأشيرات صالحة تم إيقافهم أثناء السفر، ومنعوا من دخول البلاد وأُعيدوا قسراً دون توضيح الأسباب.
٣️⃣ تشديد الإجراءات الأمنية في نيويورك
تتزامن مواعيد الفعالية مع انعقاد اجتماعات رفيعة المستوى للأمم المتحدة حول غزة والأزمات الإقليمية، ما دفع سلطات نيويورك إلى فرض قيود أمنية مشددة للغاية. كما أدت الاضطرابات والاحتجاجات الأخيرة في نيويورك وعدة مدن أميركية أخرى إلى تعزيز القيود على التجمعات العامة بشكل أكبر.
٤️⃣ تصاعد الضغوط الإدارية والسياسية
إلى جانب العقبات المباشرة، تصاعدت أيضاً العوائق السياسية والإدارية، مما وضع قيوداً مباشرة على القيم العلمية والثقافية والتعددية التي يقوم عليها هذا الحدث.
👉 نؤكد بشكل واضح أن هذا الإلغاء ليس نتيجة لأي خلل تنظيمي داخلي.
👉 بل فُرض علينا نتيجة لأزمات خارجية، ومخاوف أمنية، وعدم استقرار سياسي خارج عن إرادتنا بالكامل.
ندرك تماماً الأثر الكبير لهذا القرار على المشاركين والمؤسسات وعلى مجتمع الجمال العالمي بأسره، والذي يستحق التقدير والوحدة والحضور الدولي.

🚨 ANNONCE OFFICIELLE — ANNULATION DE L’ÉVÉNEMENT 🚨
C’est avec une tristesse profonde que nous devons annuler The Camelid Experience NYC 2025.
1. Situation au Moyen-Orient et tensions mondiales
L’escalade des conflits en Israël et en Iran place de nombreux invités, partenaires et participants dans une situation très compliquée pour voyager, se concentrer ou même planifier leur présence à l’événement.
2. Refus de visas et expulsions
Plusieurs invités internationaux se sont vus refuser l’entrée aux États‑Unis malgré des visas en règle. D’autres, une fois arrivés, ont été renvoyés immédiatement, sans explication.
3. Mesures de sécurité renforcées à New York
La tenue simultanée de réunions de haut niveau de l’ONU sur Gaza et les tensions régionales ont conduit les autorités locales à interdire tout rassemblement international supplémentaire pour des raisons de sécurité publique. Les récents mouvements de protestation à New York et ailleurs exacerbent encore ces contraintes.
4. Pressions bureaucratiques croissantes
Ces obstacles ne sont pas seulement logistiques, mais aussi administratifs et politiques, remettant en cause les principes d’ouverture et d’internationalisme au cœur de notre mission.
Soyons très clairs :
👉 Ce report n’est pas le résultat d’un échec interne, mais une conséquence directe de crises extérieures que nous ne pouvons maîtriser.
👉 Cette annulation est imposée, non choisie — elle s’oppose à l’esprit de partage culturel et scientifique qui nous anime.
Nous mesurons l’impact de cette décision : pour nos participants, pour leurs institutions, et surtout pour l’ensemble de la communauté mondiale des camélidés qu’il s’agissait de rassembler et de célébrer.
À tous ceux et celles qui nous ont soutenus, merci du fond du cœur. Nous n’abandonnerons pas : de nouveaux formats, de nouvelles dates, et de nouveaux lieux sont déjà à l’étude.
