Care Packages for NYC's Homeless I'm creating and distributing Care Packages on the streets of NYC, providing much needed supplies to the most needy among us. Now I'm living up to that promise.

I've read reports that over half of Americans have less than $10K in savings. That is alarming to me, and it means that millions of people are just one tragedy away from homelessness. It got me thinking about how fragile we are as humans, and since returning to NYC (Oct/2014), I have been reminded of just how many people struggle to survive, seeing so many living on the streets. Having to start fr

om scratch again, as a musician and self-employed teacher, I was reminded of that fear that comes from lack. It had been a very long time since I experienced that feeling, and it truly made me appreciate my ability to make a living wage! So, I made a vow that when I got back on my feet financially, I would start doing more for others, and the idea of making Care Packages for NYC's Homeless was born!
