👶 Supporting the Future of Estonia's Children💙

The Estonian Relief Committee (ERC) is proud to support the Tallinn Children’s Hospital Foundation's campaign to build a new rehabilitation center at Estonia’s largest pediatric hospital.

Each year, Tallinn Children’s Hospital cares for more than 12,000 inpatients and provides over 165,000 outpatient visits, offering specialized treatment to children from across Estonia. Rehabilitation is often a critical part of recovery following treatment for complex neurological, orthopedic, and rare diseases.

✨ ERC's contribution helps support the development of an innovative rehabilitation center that will provide children with the care, therapies, and resources they need to achieve the best possible outcomes and improve their quality of life.

Every child deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive. By supporting projects like this, we are investing in Estonia's most precious resource—its children.

💙 Your support helps make these efforts possible.

📘 Supporting the Next Generation of Estonian Leaders!

For many years, the Estonian Relief Committee (ERC) has proudly supported Estonian Boy Scouts and Estonian Girl Guides across North America, helping ensure that future generations remain connected to their heritage, culture, and community.

Whether it's providing operating grants to help defray the costs of this year's jamboree Ajakaja, contributing to the rebuilding of the beloved Pipra Pood log cabin store at Järvemetsa Camp in New Jersey, or helping fund transportation for U.S. participants traveling to international jamborees in Canada, ERC is there to help.

These camps, gatherings, and traditions create lifelong friendships, foster leadership skills, and strengthen Estonian identity for generations to come.

💙 The Estonian Relief Committee is proud to support projects that preserve the places, experiences, and traditions that shape our youth.

Your support helps make this possible.

💬 What Keeps You Connected to Estonia?

For many of us, it’s the language. For others, it’s traditions, food, music, or the friendships we carry across oceans.
At the Estonian Relief Committee (ERC), we see every day how powerful these connections are — keeping our community strong, no matter where we are in the world.

✨ We’d love to hear from you: What makes you feel most connected to Estonia?

🎶 BWES Choir Represents with Pride at West Coast Estonian Days 2026 🎶

The Estonian Relief Committee (ERC) is proud to support organizations like the Baltimore-Washington Estonian Choir (BWES), which will represent the Estonian-American community with pride, joy, and passion at the West Coast Estonian Days (LEP 2026), taking place June 26–28, 2026, in San Francisco.
ERC's grant also helps support BWES participation in the North American Estonian Choral Workshop and the grand opening celebrations of KESKUS – the International Estonian Centre in Toronto this August.
Through music, fellowship, and cultural exchange, BWES helps preserve and share Estonia's rich choral tradition while strengthening connections across the global Estonian community.

💙 Supporting Estonian Youth Through Scouting and Guiding 💙

The Estonian Relief Committee (ERC) is proud to support international cooperation within the global Estonian scouting and guiding community.
Through an ERC grant, more than 20 girl guides and leaders from Estonia were able to travel to the United States and join their Estonian-American counterparts at the 70th Anniversary Jamboree "Ajakaja," held August 8–16 at Järvemetsa Camp in Lakewood, New Jersey.
Events like these foster lifelong friendships, strengthen cultural ties, and help preserve Estonian traditions for future generations.

💙 Your support makes opportunities like this possible. Together, we are investing in Estonian youth, leadership, and community.

Supporting Estonian Youth — From Summer Camp to the School Year

As students head back to school, we’re reminded of the importance of nurturing the next generation of Estonian-Americans.
Through support of youth camps, educational programs, and cultural events, the Estonian Relief Committee (ERC) helps young people stay connected to their heritage while building friendships, confidence, and a strong sense of identity.
These experiences create lasting memories — and a lifelong connection to the Estonian community.

💙 Help us continue investing in Estonian youth

🎶 The New York Estonian Mixed Choir Represents with Pride at Laulupidu 2025

The Estonian Relief Committee (ERC) was proud to support the New York Estonian Mixed Choir as they took part in the unforgettable XXVIII Laulupidu “Iseoma” in Tallinn — a celebration of unity, culture, and the power of song.
Bringing together voices from both the U.S. and Estonia, the choir represented our global community with heart and pride on one of the most meaningful stages in Estonian culture.

💬 “As someone who has participated in North American and worldwide Estonian song festivals from an early age… it was particularly meaningful for me both as a conductor and a singer to at long last perform at the Tallinn ‘Iseoma’ Laulupidu.”

💬 “The parade from Freedom Square to the festival grounds was particularly memorable… Thank you for enabling our choir… to fulfill a lifelong dream of singing at the Estonian Song Festival.” — Krista Altok Kassa, Conductor, New York Estonian Mixed Choir

✨ Moments like these remind us how deeply music connects generations, continents, and identities.

💙 ERC is honored to support opportunities that keep Estonian traditions alive around the world.

Reflecting on World Refugee Day — Standing with Refugees Then and Now

A week ago, on June 20, communities around the world observed World Refugee Day—a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and courage of those forced to flee their homes.

For many Estonian-American families, the refugee experience is part of our shared history. Previous generations rebuilt their lives in unfamiliar countries while preserving their language, culture, and identity. Today, that same journey continues for many Ukrainian families seeking safety and stability.

The Estonian Relief Committee (ERC) remains committed to supporting refugees rebuilding their lives in Estonia by helping provide access to education, essential resources, community support, and hope for the future.

💙 From humanitarian assistance to programs that help families establish new beginnings, your generosity helps make a meaningful difference.

🔥 Head Jaanipäeva from the Estonian Relief Committee! 💙

As we celebrate Jaanipäev and the Summer Solstice, we honor one of Estonia’s most cherished traditions — a time to gather with family and friends, light the bonfire, sing, dance, and embrace the magic of the longest day of the year.
No matter where you are in the world, this celebration connects us through shared heritage, joy, and togetherness.

✨ May your Jaanipäev be filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable midsummer moments.

💙 Head jaanipäeva soovib Eesti Abistamiskomitee USAs!

The ERC supported the Long Island Spordipäev/Jaanipäev which took place June 14-16.
