New Heights Academy Charter School New Heights was the first charter school in NYC school district 6. We serve 750 students in grades 5-12.

All young people deserve access to an excellent education. New Heights Academy Charter School was founded in 2006 to provide a college preparatory education in a safe and nurturing environment to students in grade 5-12 living in Washington Heights and Inwood. Today at our Kindness Closet, families came to take what they need in a space filled with care and support 💛 At the same time, our Parent Workshop focused on bully prevention, helping us build safer, kinder communities together.
