Saturday well spent at Th The Armory Show

We started high above the city with brunch at Electric Lemon before heading to the Javits Center for an afternoon immersed in contemporary art from around the world.

Together, we explored standout booths, discovered new artists, and talked through the works and ideas that caught our attention along the way. With hundreds of galleries under one roof, experiencing the fair together made space to slow down, look more closely, and share perspectives.

One of our favorite parts of Women of Culture gatherings is exactly this: experiencing art together and seeing where the conversation takes us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a special day of art, connection, and discovery.

Finding beauty doesn’t have to mean looking away from sadness.

That idea shaped our day at the Venice Biennale’s Giardini last week. This year’s theme, In Minor Keys, draws on the emotional depth of music’s minor keys—where melancholy can coexist with solace, joy, and hope. It invites us to slow down, listen closely, and notice what we might otherwise miss.

We took curator Koyo Kouoh’s invitation to heart: taking a deep breath, exhaling, and immersing ourselves in art that offers comfort without asking us to forget what hurts.

Experiencing it together made the day all the more meaningful. Sharing the works and spaces that stayed with us revealed something about each of us, too.

That’s what makes our Art-full experiences so fulfilling: we leave not only with a new perspective on the art, but with a deeper connection to one another.

The Armory Show has been part of New York’s art story for more than a century.

Its name reaches back to the legendary 1913 Armory Show, an exhibition that introduced many Americans to the radical new ideas of European modernism and changed conversations around what art could be.

Today, @‌thearmoryshow brings that spirit of discovery into the contemporary art world, gathering galleries, artists, and perspectives from around the globe in New York each fall.

On September 26, we’ll experience it together—starting with rooftop brunch at Electric Lemon before heading to the fair for a curated walk-through.

With around 230 galleries from more than 30 countries, there’s far more to see than anyone could take in at once. So we’ll slow down, follow our curiosity, talk about what catches our attention, and discover some new artists along the way.

A Saturday spent looking at art, learning something new, and sharing it with other art-full women.

A new season can be an invitation to make space for what matters.

On October 8, we’re gathering with @‌human hearts collective for an intimate evening centered on release, renewal, and meaningful connection.

Through guided reflection, grounding practices, creative ritual, and conversation, we’ll step away from the everyday noise and spend time being fully present—with ourselves and with one another.

Because sometimes the most meaningful way to enter a new season is together.
