Dear Listeners,
I am writing to you from the annual Eclipse Intellectual Property Conference. Many of you know JiNan Glasgow George, the founder and CEO of NEO IP. Once again, she has overperformed! Woot!
After a remarkable day highlighting major technological developments, inventions, and innovations, we gathered for a second day around our faith. Founders, inventors, investors, entrepreneurs, and believers sharing what they are seeing, hearing, and creating.
Out of this gathering, we will be adding a few key people to our Gyroscope for the Soul — Listener’s Legacy community.
Things are speeding up in the heavenlies.
I strongly suggest that you lean heavily into your time with YHWH. He is steadily and calmly instructing all those who have ears to hear.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Today, Day 288, we work our lenses.
HOLY SPIRIT — The Unseen at Work
“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith YHWH of hosts.” — Zechariah 4:6
The Holy Spirit is not struggling to keep up with the acceleration around us. He is already present in what is coming. Our opportunity is to become increasingly sensitive to His instruction.
Acceleration does not require agitation. The Spirit can move powerfully while we remain at rest.
NEXT DOABLE STEP — Faith Has Feet
“The steps of a good man are ordered by YHWH.” — Psalm 37:23
We don’t need to know the next hundred steps. We need to recognize and take the next one. Sometimes that step is speaking. Sometimes listening. Sometimes making a connection. Sometimes doing nothing until instruction becomes clear.
Don’t confuse movement with progress or stillness with inactivity.
CALLING AND PURPOSE — Every Joint Supplies
“From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth…” — Ephesians 4:16
Yesterday I watched something beautiful. A room full of remarkable people, each carrying a different supply. No one person possessed the whole picture.
Vision and strategy were being harvested rather than decreed.
The Body of Christ is an extraordinary platform for creativity, innovation, and influence when everyone has a seat and every member is encouraged to bring their supply.
Your calling is not diminished by someone else’s greatness. Their supply may be precisely what enables yours to become fully expressed.
SELF-CONTROL — Strength Under Government
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7
As opportunities multiply, so do distractions. Not every open door is our door. Not every invitation is an assignment.
Self-control is not the suppression of our gifts. It is the government of our gifts by the Holy Spirit.
We can be enthusiastic without becoming impulsive, courageous without becoming reckless, and influential without needing to control.
FORGIVE AND BE FORGIVEN — Formation, Not Transaction
“Forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” — Ephesians 4:32
We have been considering Joseph and the formation of forgiveness. Joseph didn’t merely forgive his brothers. Forgiveness had become part of who he was.
Receiving forgiveness is more than having our past erased. It is allowing the nature of the Forgiver to be formed in us.
We cannot fully participate in what Yah is building while insisting on carrying yesterday’s offenses into tomorrow’s relationships.
Forgive. Be forgiven. Become forgiveness.
BET — THE HOUSE, THE BLESSING, THE CREATOR, THE SON
Bet is the second Hebrew letter. It pictures a house, a dwelling place. It begins Beresh*t — “In the beginning.”
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1
And the Son!
“For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.” — Hebrews 3:4
Consider the convergence of today’s lenses.
The Holy Spirit is building. Our next doable steps are building. Our individual callings supply what is needed for the building. Self-control protects the integrity of the house. Forgiveness preserves the relationships within it.
And the Son is the visible manifestation of the invisible God!
The house is not merely a building. It is a people, a dwelling place for His Spirit, a family of sons and daughters through whom His creative nature finds expression.
We are not simply watching the future arrive. We are participating in what our Father is building.
REST. TRUST. RECEIVE. CONCEIVE. DELIVER.
Breathe His Name. Yah-oo-ah. Yah-oo-shoo-ah.
Listen before you speak. Receive before you give. Discern before you move.
And ask yourself today:
What is the Holy Spirit building around me, what supply has He placed within me, and what is my next doable step?
There is no need to hurry what Yah is accomplishing. We can move at His pace even as everything around us accelerates.
Fully connected — fully expressed.
