The Pillangó Foundation The Pillangó Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit group whose mission is to support the EDUCATION, CULTURE, and DREAMS of communities in need.

The foundation’s charter allows it to operate in any country or region; we have chosen to concentrate the foundation’s efforts in the underserved areas of eastern Europe. Our core tenants – EDUCATION, CULTURE, and DREAMS – marry the principles we feel are most pressing. That, without proper education in one’s native tongue, children canno

t possibly meet the changes and challenges of global integration. Furthermore, we believe that individual cultures, cultural and ethnic traditions, and a sense of continuity of place, must be safeguarded. Finally, it is only through our ability to “dream” that we can imagine—and build—the life we were meant to have.
