Watching older adults step onto the stage and share their talent never gets old. Every performance is a reminder that passion, creativity, and the joy of connecting with others have no age limit. We had the privilege of participating in Talent Is Timeless, an inspiring competition organized by New York City Department for the Aging. Our incredible group of ladies gave a beautiful performance, enjoyed every moment, and celebrated what community, friendship, and lifelong learning are all about. Thank you to everyone who made this special event possible. Here’s to proving that talent truly is timeless.

Ver a personas mayores subir a un escenario y compartir su talento es un hermoso recordatorio de que la pasión, la creatividad y las ganas de disfrutar la vida no tienen edad. Hoy tuvimos el privilegio de participar en Talent Is Timeless, un concurso organizado por el Departamento de Envejecientes del Estado de Nueva York. Nuestro maravilloso grupo de damas ofreció una presentación llena de entusiasmo, alegría y dedicación, disfrutando cada instante mientras fortalecían los lazos de amistad y comunidad. Gracias a todos los que hicieron posible este evento tan inspirador. Porque el talento, la ilusión y las ganas de brillar realmente no tienen fecha de vencimiento.

There is something truly inspiring about seeing older adults perform for other older adults. Their passion, energy, and joy remind us that creativity, movement, and expression have no age limit. They are not only bringing happiness to their own generation, but also showing younger generations the beauty of staying active, confident, and connected through the arts. Aging is not the end of inspiration — sometimes, it is where inspiration shines the brightest.

Hay algo verdaderamente inspirador en ver a adultos mayores presentarse para otros adultos mayores. Su pasión, energía y alegría nos recuerdan que la creatividad, el movimiento y la expresión no tienen edad. No solo llevan felicidad a personas de su misma generación, sino que también inspiran a las generaciones más jóvenes a ver la belleza de mantenerse activos, seguros y conectados a través del arte. Envejecer no es el final de la inspiración… muchas veces, es cuando la inspiración más brilla.

Seven centers, hundreds of older adult participants, and the absolute conviction that we have the opportunity to create environments that truly make a difference. This is what we strive for every day.
Once again, thank you to the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York State Council on the Arts for their trust in our mission and for making these wonderful initiatives possible — initiatives that help us create stronger, more connected, and more joyful communities together.

Siete centros, cientos de participantes adultos mayores y la absoluta convicción de que tenemos la oportunidad de crear espacios que realmente marcan la diferencia. Eso es lo que nos inspira y por lo que trabajamos cada día.
