GSP Rescue of New Jersey

Our mission is a home for every GSP! In many cases, people do not understand a GSP’s energy level or need for companionship before getting the dog.

We are a small group of volunteers dedicated to finding homes for lost or surrendered German Shorthaired Pointers, focusing primarily in NJ & NY, but working cooperatively with other Regional GSP Rescue groups. German Shorthaired Pointers (GSPs) are an energetic, loving, stubborn, but fiercely loyal breed of dogs often given up or abandoned for just these qualities. This can lead to surrender or a

bandonment. Luckily, we are an energetic, loving, stubborn, but fiercely loyal bunch of volunteers dedicated to finding permanent loving homes for abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted purebred GSPs. In addition, as part of our mission, we educate the public about the breed and the requirements of dog ownership in general. We also assist GSP owners as needed in order to prevent abandonment or surrender. Most members are current or past GSP owners; all share a love of this magnificent breed. The collective knowledge and dog experience in our group is a tremendous asset that differentiates us from many other rescue groups. It also enables our record of success, as our deep understanding of the breed helps us to match the right dog to the right family.

PA PEEPS 🆘 I NEED HELP ‼️‼️

I need somebody to pick these two puppies up in the reading area to meet Valerie to grab them off of Transport and take them to the location there in Belvidere, New Jersey it’s only 70 miles. That’s where we gotta meet the Rescue and these guys are on Transport already headed to Pennsylvania so I need somebody. Please help me out here. You’re gonna have to have a crate or you can put them on your backseat on a blanket or in a Rubbermaid tub lol they’re not allowed to be on the ground because they’re only 10 1/2 weeks old so they can’t touch the ground so you’re just gonna take them from the driver put them in your vehicle and take them to the rescue and hand them off.
