Does your map look different lately? 🗺️ Redistricting has changed the lines in Onslow County! Under North Carolina Senate Bill 249 (Session Law 2025-95), our county is now split between two U.S. Congressional Districts for the 2026 elections.

🟡 The gold/yellow region represents the 3rd U.S. Congressional District.
🟣 The purple region represents the 1st U.S. Congressional District.

Understanding the new Medicaid rules is vital for our community's health and stability. For Medicaid Mondays, we are highlighting the new 80-hour work requirement and, more importantly, who is exempt from it. It is crucial to know your status so you can maintain your coverage without interruption.

Exemptions from the new rules include:
- Seniors aged 65 and older
- Children
- Individuals with disabilities
- Pregnant individuals
- Caregivers
