What an unforgettable night! ✨ A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made the Kota Spring Benefit Dinner 2026 such a beautiful success.

We are all still thinking about that incredible five-course meal curated by the brilliant chef Lana Lagomarsini. Beyond the amazing flavors, it was deeply inspiring to watch her mentor two incredibly talented students from the Culinary Institute of America, Harmony Carter and Sophia Gahomera, right in our kitchen.

We also loved seeing everyone engage with our exclusive art auction featuring powerful works from our ROOTED exhibition. A special thank you to all who participated, your ticket purchases directly fund Kota’s Arts and Community Programs.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to our generous funders and sponsors for their vital support. To our community, board, and partners: thank you for bringing so much heart to this night of cuisine and art. We couldn't do this work without you!

The Kota Alliance is proud to support Menstrual Hygiene Day and the vision of a more 🌍💙

Menstruation is a normal part of life, yet millions of people around the world still face stigma, lack of education, limited access to products, and inadequate healthcare and sanitation. MH Day works to change that by raising awareness, encouraging open conversations, and advocating for menstrual health, dignity, and equality for all.

We believe no one should be held back because of their period. Through education, compassion, community, and advocacy, we can help create a world where periods are understood, supported, and never shamed.

Together, let’s build a more period-friendly world. 🩸

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out last Friday to listen to the funny, moving, and deeply powerful stories our artists shared about their roots, identities, and creative journeys.

Our ROOTED Walk & Talk event welcomed more than 80 people into The Kota Alliance, and the energy in the room was truly unforgettable.

A huge thank you to each and every one of our brave artists for speaking so openly about their work, their experiences, and themselves. Your honesty and vulnerability made the evening what it was.

We couldn’t be happier with how the night turned out 💙
