Your Story, Your Photo is a portrait series from Brazilian photographer Raphael Cezario celebrating immigrant students at the Andrew Romay Center. Now an alum of the ARNIC himself, Cezario’s work encourages fellow students to share their journeys and empowers them while they build lives in America.

Students were encouraged to pose with symbolic objects of their choice. Here, a student from Russia poses with a copy of Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes, representing curiosity and intellect.
