Our no-kill Humane Society and SPCA is located in Waverly, NY. We primarily house dogs and cats while they wait to find their new adoptive families. We offer low-cost spay/neuter services to the public, free rabies vaccine clinics, a variety of dog training classes, and participate in humane education, and pet therapy programs. ๐Ÿก "Mike is adjusting remarkably well!!! He has bonded with me completely and never leaves my side. He gets along with his new cat siblings and the grandchildren absolutely LOVE him and he has the puppy energy to keep up with them.

My granddaughter, Rozalie, tells him she is his new mother and draws lots of pictures for him!!! I can't believe how Mike has brought this home to life again after the sadness of losing my dog Scrappy last spring. ๐Ÿค

Others are definitely NOT shy. ๐Ÿ˜„ Some are big; some of them just think they're big. ๐Ÿ˜„ Just like people, theyโ€™re all different and special in their own way. What they have in common is that they're all good dogs, really good dogs. And they all need homes.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘ฃ The public is always welcome to come and meet our pets. Maybe youโ€™d like to take one out for a walk, spend time with them in our play yard, or maybe youโ€™re thinking about adding a four-legged family member to your life. Whatever brings you in, weโ€™d love to see you. And so would our pets.

๐Ÿ’› Ellie's second chance started with someone caring. Someone hoping she would find a home. But finding homes for pets takes more than hope. It takes support from events like Tioga Tunes that make these second chances possible.

When a shelter pet arrives at Stray Haven, we make sure they have everything they need. We make sure they are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on their vaccinations, and so much more.

๐Ÿงก We make sure each one has food, a warm, comfortable place to sleep, toys, treats, and above all, love they might not have known before.

That's why fundraisers matter. ๐Ÿ˜

On Saturday, September 12th, we're bringing our community together for a night of local music, raffle baskets, and a great time, all to benefit shelter pets like Ellie.

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Every ticket sold makes more second chances possible. It helps pets like Ellie get the care they need while they wait for their forever families. And the best news? Ellie found her forever family today!....

๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฑ Fourteen cats and kittens. Fourteen individual personalities. All ages, colors, and personalities. Some will have you laughing, some will melt your heart, and some just want a soft place to land.

๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›๏ธ๐Ÿ  "Hello from Appa's new mom. He's doing so well! It's nice to have kitten energy in the house again. He has his establishing visit with our vet scheduled for Wednesday, and we're planning our first walk in the stroller tomorrow morning!

๐Ÿ“บ ๐ŸŸ He enjoys watching Nature TV, eating snacks, trips to the local coffee shop, and wet food dinners with a little fish broth (low sodium) and water for extra hydration.
