🌊🚢 Welcome new families to the Harbor School's Summer InDock program! We can't wait to meet you! 😃

🎉📣 The Harbor School Summer InDock Program kicked off today, and we hope your kids enjoyed their first day. 🏫 We are so grateful for the New York Harbor School, once again providing our students with this incredible InDock program! Throughout this week, incoming students will strengthen bonds, conquer challenges, and learn more about maritime education and teamwork while exploring college/career paths together on Governors Island and around the majestic New York Harbor. 🗽🌊

On Friday, get set to meet some of the awesome members of our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). It's the perfect opportunity to feel the buzz of excitement and see how you can become a vital part of our wonderful community! 🤝🏢

🌟 So, let the adventures begin. We will see you on Friday! 🌞✨

📅 June 13 is this year's FINAL Lost & Found Day. ⚠️ ALL items will be recycled after this date.

📢 Attention, students, staff, and parents! Help us clear the slate before the summer break. 🏢 Join us on the 2nd-floor balcony during your lunch period (periods 3 through 6) on TUESDAY, June 13. It's just before Regents when lockers should be cleared out anyway! 🗝️

🎁 Afterward, all remaining items will be washed and donated to charity. 🔄

📣 PTA Volunteer Opportunity! 📣

Our Student Council has been working overtime to put together an epic Harbor Day next Tuesday, and we're seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist them in creating an unforgettable experience. Harbor Day is the ultimate opportunity for our students to make lasting memories before summer break and to celebrate those embarking on new adventures beyond our beloved Harbor campus. 🚀🌞Here's how you can contribute to the fun:

1️⃣ Outdoor Volunteers: We need 6-8 people to assist with sports and games at the Parade Grounds.🏃‍♂️⚽️

2️⃣ Indoor and Courtyard Volunteers: We're looking for 4-6 people to lend a hand with food, art activities, and setup/cleanup. 🎨🍔✨

We ask that volunteers arrive on the 10:00 am ferry and plan to stay until 3:00 pm, so we can maximize the fun and create an unforgettable experience. 🚢🌞

Also, we'll be organizing the lost and found area, and we would greatly appreciate your help in reuniting lost items with their owners. Let's make sure everyone heads into the summer break with all their belongings! 🕵️‍♀️🔍

Sign-up instructions were sent via email, so please check your inbox and join us in making Harbor Day an event our students will cherish. Although there may be other events to follow, Harbor Day is our students' final opportunity to gather as a whole school before embarking on summer break and new journeys. Let's make it an unforgettable day of laughter, joy, and heartfelt goodbyes! 🌟✨
