Ecstatic Dance is a community gathering for people who want to express themselves freely, to connect, and to expand together through the inspiration of music & dance. This is about self-expression, freeing your mind and body, and connecting with yourself and those around you. No booze, no shoes and no chit-chat on the dance floor helps us keep it intentional. 1. No talking on the dance floor (plenty of room to talk in the lounge space up on the balcony)

2. Drug-Free, Smoke-Free, Alcohol-Free environment

3. No photos or videos, cellphones muted and out of sight

4. Respect for the space and for one another

5. Move your body however you wish! What to Bring:
1. Loose-fitting clothes that let you move your body and free yourself

2. Water and a water bottle. See you on the Dance floor!

Nick Demeris is a singer, composer, improviser, and participatory performance maker whose work explores the voice as a complete instrument—melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic. His practice includes extended vocal techniques, vocal percussion, and beatboxing, and is grounded in deep listening, play, and collective music-making. We are thrilled to welcome back to NYC for 2 nights! On November 18th, experience a live concert that blends rhythm, voice, and shamanic soundscapes.
On November 19th, dive deeper in an interactive workshop designed to open the body, voice, and spirit in community.
This year’s Chakaruna World Bridging Tour draws inspiration from the ancient Quechua concept of Chakaruna, meaning World Bridger. Through this tour, Poranguí invites us to step into our own roles as Chakarunas, weaving our spirits into the vibrant tapestry of life and synchronizing with the pulsating heartbeat of the Earth.
