We are incredibly grateful for your support of our final 2025-2026 concert, Love Wins, an incredibly special collaboration with our friends, HALO Quartet! Thank you everyone at HALO and to Dr. Allyn Lloyd for your generous partnership and for co-creating such a meaningful, beautiful, and fun performance! ✨ We’re also appreciative of our whole NYCMC community for all of your enthusiasm and presence over the entirety of our 20th Anniversary Season. 💜 This milestone year represented our organization’s past, present, and future, including performances of classical choral masterpieces, dynamic new collaborations, and NYCMC commissions and premieres. By combining our performances with our community outreach and school partnership program, we are so proud to continue pursuing our mission and bringing people together through choral music while celebrating the city we call home. 🎵We could not do it without you. We’ll have more to share soon including other reflections on this year, news about summer programming, the dates for fall auditions, and more, so stay tuned and stay well, and thank you again! 🎉

It’s time to celebrate and share some reflections from our third and final NYCMC soloist for “Love Wins,” the wonderful Kieran, singing in “Your Precious Love,” who writes:

““Love Wins.” What a fitting theme for the final concert of our 20th anniversary season. In my 7ish years singing with NYCMC I’ve witnessed the ebb and flow of people coming and going, often returning to take part in another beautiful musical moment.

In NYCMC, as in the world, change is inevitable but one thing is constant: Love. Love for our craft, love for one another, and the love we share when we come together to create something greater than the sum of our parts.

Here’s to 20 more years of spreading the love and 20 more years of NYCMC.“

Hello from post-rehearsal, the perfect time to meet our second NYCMC soloist for “Love Wins,” our awesome chorus president Jennie! 💜(We also have singers not named Jenny/ie!). Jennie is featured on “Your Precious Love” and is excited to celebrate the close of NYCMC’s 20th anniversary season in a beautiful and new-to-us venue - the gorgeous El Teatro at El Museo! 🖼️ Don’t miss hearing Jennie, NYCMC, and HALO Quartet, coming up on Sunday, May 17!! ✨

It’s time to meet our first NYCMC soloist for “Love Wins,” the wonderful Jenny! You’ll hear her highlighted on “People Get Ready” on Sunday, May 17!

Sharing her thoughts ahead of this concert, and reflecting on the close of our anniversary season, Jenny shared “the NYC Master Chorale is truly special, to the core. The huge amount of joy and care its leaders and members have for the Cause (music!) is so palpable and moving. Stoked to show a little soul this concert!”

Tickets to “Love Wins,” the final concert of our anniversary season and our first artistic collaboration with the incredible are ON SALE NOW! 🎉 This performance at the beautiful is coming up in exactly four weeks, and we can’t wait to see you there. 🎫

Together with HALO, we invite you to join us on a musical journey, articulated with historical narrative and poetry of civil rights activists from the 19th to the 21st century. Featuring popular Motown hits such as “What’s Going On” and “Dancing in the Street” in the barbershop style, arranged by Allyn Lloyd, this program reminds us to embrace the love that conquers all. 💜

Happy birthday to us!! 🥳 The NYC Master Chorale’s inaugural concert was held exactly 20 years ago today! 💜 We’re so proud to still be going strong, with two incredible decades of beautiful concerts and musical community behind us and many more ahead. ✨

Last but not certainty least, say hello to Julie, another of our cabaret stars and cabaret producer extraordinaire! 🤩 Tomorrow at “Then & Now,” she’s performing “At Seventeen,” which she shared “evokes painful memories of adolescence - at some point during those years, so many of us felt excluded in some way. Now, after so many years have passed, we can look back at that version of ourselves and be thankful for the resilience that got us through difficult times.”
