An ensemble of multi-disciplinary New York urbanites, Vertigo Theater Company was formed in to provide a nurturing environment that fosters the growth of its company members as both individuals and artists. In spring 2012, several of Vertigo’s founding members first met as students in Labyrinth Theater Company’s Spring Ensemble Workshop. Later that summer, additional members would join the group.

Empowered by Labyrinth’s spirit of ensemble and encouragement to self-produce, Vertigo Theater Company was born. The company will provide creative and fiscal resources to support aspiring artists and emerging playwrights in the New York City area. The end goal is to develop and produce original works that reflect the diversity and
versatility of company members, as well as make culturally enriching programs and quality theater performances accessible to lower and middle income communities in New York.
