If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to build and sustain community green spaces, this conversation is for you!

I’m excited to be a panelist for Mapping Queens: Innovators in Green Spaces at Queens Botanical Garden, a conversation exploring how community leaders across Queens are creating, protecting, and sustaining green spaces as places for connection, creativity, and community.

I’ll be joined by:
🌻 Clarisa James — DIVAS For Social Justice
🌊 Jackie Rogers — The Garden By The Bay
🌱 Jaclyn Soto — South Jamaica Infinity Garden
🌽 Nicolás Linares — 🌽 Mazorca Colectiva 🌽

Together, we’ll share what inspires our work, what it takes to build and sustain community green spaces, and our visions for a greener, more connected Queens.

🎙️Moderated by Natalie Bedon, Project Manager of the Queens Cultural Mapping Initiative with audience Q&A + mixer to follow!

📍 Queens Botanical Garden
📅 Wednesday, Sept. 16 | 6–9 PM
🎟️ FREE to attend — RSVP at the link in bio!
