Welcome to the New York City Shih Tzu Rescue Society.
We are a small joint project of LIONS Clubs international through the New York Global Leaders Lions Club chapter, and The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation.
Founded during the Pandemic, we have placed over 60 dogs with loving families across the tri-state. A dozen dogs who, unadapted for a year, will remain with the founders as they are now acclimated to the pack.
This is our third page. The first two were taken down for “violating community standards.“ We now believe that the reason, for this was our use of the Lions logo, which is normal as we are a Lions project, but evidently artificial intelligence thought otherwise. Our appeals were met by more artificial intelligence and unsuccessful.
Originally,, we had a photo album for each and every of the 60 small dogs. This is too hard to reproduce, so we will start from scratch. Note that the photo albums here are only partial.
At the moment, we have no dogs available.
