This International Women’s Day, we’re honoring Leana Pardo—advocate, leader, and changemaker—who has dedicated her career to supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and homelessness.

Leana’s impact extends beyond her leadership at The North Brooklyn Coalition—she is a steadfast champion for trauma-informed care, ensuring survivors receive comprehensive support and free therapy. With a background in public policy and a deep commitment to social justice, she has worked directly with hundreds of individuals affected by gender-based violence, mental health challenges, and housing insecurity. Through her advocacy, leadership, and personal resilience, Leana continues to empower survivors and drive meaningful change in her community.

She is also one of our panelists at our Healthy Relationships Event on March 12th. We hope to see you there!
