The future of education will not be built in silos. It will be built through collaboration, innovation, and shared responsibility.

The Transforming Global Education Summit brought together leaders across government, technology, philanthropy, education, and multilateral institutions to rethink education as global infrastructure, designed not just to serve learners today, but to strengthen resilience, opportunity, and sovereignty for generations to come.

This was more than a convening. It was a collective commitment to move from dialogue to design and delivery, building learning systems that are inclusive, future-ready, and built to reach everyone.

At the Geospatial World Forum happening now in Amsterdam, PVBLIC Foundation Executive Chairman Sergio Fernandez de Cordova participated in the plenary session, “Digital and Geospatial Infrastructure: Backbone for Resilient and Sustainable Development in Digital and Autonomous Age”.

Sergio recapped and highlighted the 3 A’s for transformation:
🔵 Access. The priority is ensuring countries have access to that capability of tools, data and technology; not reinventing it.
🔵 Alignment. The real gap is coordination. Aligning geospatial data, systems and stakeholders around national priorities so they function as one.
🔵 Action. We need to move from data to systems infrastructure; from data to economic assets; and from intention to ex*****on.

In order to keep promises and commitments, we need innovative solutions and initiatives for a more sustainable future. PVBLIC Foundation offers a bridge to connect stakeholders from across sectors to meet the needs of communities around the world, including Small Island Developing States.

PVBLIC is at the Geospatial World Forum 2026 in Amsterdam, highlighting the work of the SDG Data Alliance and its support of Small Island Developing States (SIDS) throughout all the engagements.

PVBLIC is represented by Executive Chairman, Sergio Fernandez de Cordova; President Stephen Keppel; and SDG Data Alliance Executive Director Dr. Greg Scott.

Although SIDS continue to face some of the world’s most acute climate, economic, and governance challenges, they are increasingly turning to data, digital infrastructure, and geospatial technology to build resilience and prosperity.

Built upon collaboration around areas of mutual interest and benefit, PVBLIC Foundation and the SDG Data Alliance will convene a dedicated SIDS Summit on Thursday, 30 April, and host a SIDS Pavilion with key partners and stakeholders during the GWF.

Education must evolve from isolated classrooms into a living system that empowers every community to grow, create, and contribute.

It is the architecture of progress linking people to purpose, and knowledge to the common good.

The Transforming Global Education Summit is organized by PVBLIC Foundation, the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, the Government of the Kingdom of Tonga, and the Learning Economy Foundation, and supported by 256 Network Foundation and the UnitED Youth Council.

On Earth Day, the focus is clear: turning environmental ambition into action, from the rooms where decisions are made, to local communities.

Shaping a global vision for Small Island Developing States and unlocking capital for clean energy and solutions for the planet, PVBLIC Foundation is on the ground at the Global Sustainable Island Summit in Gran Canaria.

Executive Director of the Development Bank for Resilient Prosperity (The Nature Bank), Dr. Gene Leon and Director of Government Affairs at PVBLIC, Ashaki Goodwin joined global leaders advancing new models for financing resilience through innovation, partnerships, and delivery.

Today, the world counts 1.8 billion young people between the ages of 10 and 24.

As the world faces intersecting, layered challenges, young people must be at the helm of policy and decision-making.

The Economic and Social Council Youth Forum is a crucial platform for young people from around the world to engage and innovate solutions alongside Member States, the UN system, civil society and other partners.

PVBLIC Foundation was honored to participate in the ECOSOC Youth Forum, represented by Laurence Kalinsky, Executive Director of the Family Offices for Sustainable Development; Aris Woodyear, Operations Coordinator; and Sebastian Fernández de Cordova, Market Research Analyst.

Our organization is committed to elevating youth’s visibility and meaningful participation in global spaces. Let’s continue to work across generations to advance the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Today, the SDG Data Alliance has evolved to become a community-driven, multi-stakeholder partnership bringing geographic information systems, or GIS, technology and capabilities to developing nations and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) around the world.

A program within PVBLIC Foundation, the SDG Data Alliance has been using the power of purpose-driven collaboration, geospatial frameworks, and geospatial technologies to strengthen the technical capacity of developing countries, providing access to new data, technology, innovation, capacity-building, resources, training and global expertise. sdg.org

As global leaders convened for the International Monetary Fund–World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C., discussions across global finance, development, and technology pointed to a clear reality: the global development system is increasingly misaligned with today’s challenges—shaping how risk is distributed, how capital flows, and how resilience is built across economies.

Against this backdrop, PVBLIC Foundation and the Development Bank for Resilient Prosperity (DBRP), also known as the Nature Bank, engaged with partners and institutions throughout the Meetings. PVBLIC was represented by Dr. Hyginus “Gene” Leon, Executive Director of the Nature Bank; Melissa Bohne, Program Manager of the Nature Bank and Government Affairs; and Danial Siddiqui, Global Advisor on Institutional Finance.

Over the three days, the delegation participated in targeted sessions on global finance and development and held bilateral discussions with partners to share updates on the Bank’s progress and explore opportunities for collaboration. These engagements supported efforts to position PVBLIC and the Nature Bank within evolving conversations on resilience, financing, and institutional innovation, particularly in climate-vulnerable and low-resilience economies.
