Help us formally introduce Coach Tom Seitz! One of the world’s highest ranked French saber fencers, Seitz has brought Tim Morehouse Fencing Club a unique perspective and energy in his first full week with us. He will assist us at regional and national competitions, and has already done tremendous work with Fencing in the Schools, our afterschool program and foundation that brings our sport to students from New York City schools. Today Harvard University fencing coaches and team members are speaking to their experiences at the school and to their journeys as fencers. They are providing invaluable wisdom to our campers about navigating the transition to college fencing, school/life/sport balance, and more. Our campers are extremely lucky to be exposed to these amazing athletes and counselors, all of whom are great examples of what young fencers can become! 🎓

We are posted up in Grand Central from 2-7 PM to teach people the basics of fencing and promote our brand new East Side location which is a 10 minute walk from Grand Central. Fencing In The Schools is a non-profit Educational Organization whose mission to “Turn The Light On” for students is carried out by bringing fencing to under-resourced schools to teach “Champions Skills” that transcend sport.

Our Varsity team programs in Harlem work to prepare scholar-athletes who are ready to attend and excel in college while participating on college fencing teams.
