The Latinas On the Verge of Excellence Mentoring Program supports and empowers young Latinas to strive for success through interventions targeted at mental, reproductive and physical health as well as career planning and college access. program, both virtual and in person, provides young Latina high school students and other female students a safe space to engage in socio-emotional learning. Parti

cipants have the opportunity to receive guidance from mentors and teachers who come from similar backgrounds, and as a result had similar experiences.

We had the honor of hosting the creator of Juego Cigüeña for a special workshop with our L.O.V.E. team.💫

This thoughtfully designed game opened the door to real, engaging conversations around s*xual education, creating a safe and welcoming space for learning.

Our team loved it, some even called it the “funnest s*x ed,” and left feeling more confident having these important conversations with younger audiences.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to visit the Marriott Bonvoy offices for such an inspiring field trip. Our mentees had the chance to learn from incredible women who shared their personal journeys, the challenges they’ve faced, and the paths they took to build their careers.

Hearing these stories, especially about navigating spaces as women and as members of the Hispanic community, was powerful and deeply motivating.

No woman should ever feel incapable of achieving what she wants in life. Representation matters, and experiences like this continue to open doors, build confidence, and inspire the next generation of leaders.

We’re still feeling inspired after attending the Girls Inc. Annual Conference: Elevate Her Essence today 💫

Thank you so much for having us at such an empowering and impactful conference. Our mentees had an incredible opportunity to be in a space filled with sisterhood, growth, and inspiration.

We were also honored to host our Vision Board Station, “See. Feel. Become It,” where we had the chance to pour into so many amazing young women and help them visualize their goals and futures.

From engaging workshops to powerful conversations, the girls walked away with new knowledge, confidence, and a deeper understanding of their potential. It was truly amazing to see them connect, ask questions, and be surrounded by so many strong, uplifting voices.
We are so grateful to have been part of this experience and to bring our mentees along for such a meaningful day. Opportunities like this continue to inspire and shape the future of our young women, and we couldn’t be more proud 💕

Women supporting youth is how we build stronger communities. L.O.V.E. Mentoring is excited to share the Youth Action 50 Resource Fair happening on Saturday, March 21st. Young people ages 14–21 will have the opportunity to explore resources, learn about internship and leadership opportunities, and connect with organizations serving youth across the city.

The event will take place at the New York City College of Technology, located at 300 Jay St., Brooklyn, NY.
Session 1: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Session 2: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM

If you are between 14–21, this is a great opportunity to discover programs, build connections, and explore your future. Please use the QR code on the flyer to sign up for a session.

We are so grateful to United Way New York and Weil for hosting an amazing event for our L.O.V.E. Mentoring mentees this Women’s Month ❤️

Our mentees met incredible women in a variety of roles, from lawyers to staff, made collages, and got to talk personally with these inspiring professionals. It was a wonderful way to show them what’s possible and spark confidence in their own futures.
