Latinas On the Verge of Excellence - LOVE, Inc. The L.O.V.E.

The Latinas On the Verge of Excellence Mentoring Program supports and empowers young Latinas to strive for success through interventions targeted at mental, reproductive and physical health as well as career planning and college access. program, both virtual and in person, provides young Latina high school students and other female students a safe space to engage in socio-emotional learning. Participants have the opportunity to receive guidance from mentors and teachers who come from similar backgrounds, and as a result had similar experiences.

Women’s Equality Day is so important because equality should never be something we recognize just one day a year. It should be celebrated, supported, and fought for every single day.

While we’ve made incredible progress, there is still so much work to do. Women and girls deserve equal opportunities, equal pay, equal representation, and the freedom to have their voices heard everywhere.

At L.O.V.E., we believe in creating a future where every woman and girl is valued, respected, empowered, and given the opportunity to thrive. We celebrate equality today, and we keep working for it every day.

Through this incredible collaboration, our L.O.V.E. girls had the opportunity to:

💜 Learn about healthy relationships, sexual health, and pregnancy prevention
💜 Navigate social media, friendships, family, and school life
💜 Meet new people, connect with inspiring professionals, and have fun!
