During UN Peacebuilding Week, IAYSP had the opportunity to represent youth voices at the Peace Circle held with Felipe Paullier 🇺🇳

John shared about the Balkan Summit and how the youth collaborated together for peace by organizing a forum that gathered politicians from various regions.

The Balkan International Youth Summit for Peace 2026 will be held in Mitrovica, Kosovo from October 1~4 based on the theme “Youth as Peace Practitioners, From Dialogue to Action”! More details to follow soon if you are interested in registering 🇽🇰

On July 15th, the last day of HLPF, YSP hosted our 2026 HLPF Side Event with partner organizations:“Transformative Education: Youth-Led Pathways to Justice and Peace” in UN Headquarters 🗽

The room was filled with people of all ages, and with many youth representatives! It was an incredible honor to hear about various perspectives of peace education across diverse fields, reminding us that peace can be taught in endless ways outside the classroom 📚

Thank you to our wonderful speakers, panelists, moderator, and participants both in-person and online for a meaningful discussion on the role of peace education in building peace and just societies 👏✨
