Shesh Besh, the Israel Philharmonic - הפילהרמונית הישראלית Arab-Jewish Ensemble, just concluded a tour to Canada. The ensemble traveled to Montréal to perform at the ISME World Conference. The concert wove together the musical voices of East and West, carrying a heartfelt message of peace and brotherhood from Israel.

The ensemble then traveled to Toronto—with a brief detour to Niagara Falls!—to perform to a sold-out audience at Koffler Arts. Head to our website for an excerpt from this performance: https://afipo.org/shesh-besh-canadian-tour-2026/

The Israel Philharmonic - הפילהרמונית הישראלית believes that every child should have the opportunity to discover music, develop their talent, and shape a bright future. For children in Mitzpe Ramon, a live performance by professional musicians is a rare experience due to its remote location. This past month, students from grades 3-6 enjoyed a special performance from IPO musicians. The brass instrument ensemble captivated their young audience with works like Mozart's "A Little Night Music, Schubert's "Military March," and arrangements of popular music like "The Pink Panther." These same students are also currently learning to play an instrument through the Sulamot program.
