https://friendsofnycnfp.org/join-our-community/ In 2016, we founded the Friends of New York City Nurse-Family Partnership (Friends of NYC NFP) as a separate 501(c)(3) organization to help NYC NFP fully realize its goals. Working side-by-side with nurses and staff, we offer financial resources and program enhancements that support first-time mothers living in poverty and

help their babies to flourish. Our generous donors make these programs possible, providing financial assistance so that moms can actualize the life- changing goals their nurses have helped them develop. As an independent nonprofit solely supporting NYC NFP, we are unique, and others in the U.S. are now exploring our model.

This National Safety Month, we want to thank our donors who support all of our programs, especially the Heart’s Desire Fund.

Raffle Winner!!! 🎉

A heartfelt thank you to for their continued generosity and support! 💖 At this event, one lucky first-time mom and her toddler received a wonderful bath kit and adorable bath toys.

At our last event this spring, we were also gifted a 3-in-1 Lalo high chair for another NYC NFP mom.

Your thoughtful raffle prizes have helped make both events even more special for the families we serve. We are so grateful for your partnership and for helping us celebrate and support new moms! 👶✨🛁

🎪✨ What a day to remember!

Our Carnival Fun Fair at Hostos Community College on June 10th was filled with smiles, laughter, bubbles, balloons, and fun for our NYC NFP families. 💙

A special thank you to Kooky Cosmo the Clown for bringing magic and laughter to the children, and to Dr. Maristella Lucchini , whose continued support ensures our little ones stay safe during National Safety Month and beyond. 👶🩺

We're also incredibly grateful to our Treasurer, Stephanie
, for organizing NBC volunteers who generously gave their time to support our event. Your hard work and enthusiasm made a real difference, and we appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️

Our Entrepreneurship Workshop brought together inspiring women from different walks of life, ready to turn ideas into impact.

Through data and metrics on workshop satisfaction, participants’ age, race, and education levels, we celebrated the diversity and strength of our entrepreneurial community.

Most importantly, the workshop created a space for women to connect, support one another, and grow together. 💜✨

June is National Safety Month 💚

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. Through our programs, first-time moms in low-income communities receive the tools, knowledge, and support they need to protect and nurture their babies.

Your support helps provide:
- Safe sleep education through our online LEAP programming
- Proper furniture and essential baby supplies to childproof homes
- Funding for in-person events that reduce postpartum depression and anxiety by fostering community, support, and confidence
- Access to healthcare, nutrition, and wellness resources for new moms and their babies
