This Sunday, three organizations — one shared love for Brazil, its people, and its land. 🌿💚
, , and are coming together at OPA! Festa Junina to celebrate Brazilian culture, art, and the Amazon — and we’d love for you to join us.
OPA! Festa Junina is a full-day celebration of one of Brazil’s most beloved traditions, organized by Brazilian theater company . Tickets are available at www.group.br.com/opa (the link is in their bio).
🖼️ As part of the event, we are proud to present the exhibition “Acre in Celebration: Nature, Stories and New Futures” — a visual journey into the environment, biodiversity, and communities of Acre, Brazil.
From 3 to 6 PM, children and teens are invited to the workshop “Protecting Acre’s Wildlife”, led by Duda Mendes (), MoMA Teens-in-Residence and NYCLU Teen Activist. Through art, creativity, and conversation, participants will explore the rich biodiversity of Acre and discover why protecting the Amazon and its wildlife matters — for Brazil and for all of us.
