🤝 Hurricane Melissa Relief – Community in Action 🌪️💙

Friends of Trelawny Association (FOTA) extends heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Karen Williams of New Hope Missionary Family Church, 24 Radio Park Lane, Brookhaven, PA, USA, for her generosity and leadership in supporting Hurricane Melissa relief efforts.

Mrs. Williams (sister of Lydia Cousins) officially handed over US $700.00, raised by members of New Hope Missionary Family Church, to support relief work through the FOTA Local Chapter, Falmouth, and William Knibb Memorial Baptist Church, Falmouth.

The funds were received by Miss Lorna Jackson, President of FOTA Falmouth, and Pastor Wayne Smith of William Knibb Memorial Baptist Church.

🎉 Happy New Year from the Friends of Trelawny Association 🎉

As we step into this new year, we do so with gratitude for our resilience and hope for brighter days ahead. The past year tested our parish deeply, especially in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, but it also reminded us of the strength, unity, and compassion that define the people of Trelawny.

Together, we have begun the important work of rebuilding—restoring homes, supporting families, and uplifting communities. While the journey is not yet complete, we remain encouraged by every act of kindness, every helping hand, and every effort made in service to our parish.

In this new year, we call on friends, partners, and supporters near and far to continue standing with us. With hope, determination, and unity, we can rebuild stronger, support those still in need, and create lasting opportunities for growth and development across Trelawny.

May this year bring healing, progress, and renewed purpose. Thank you for your continued support, and may the New Year be filled with peace, strength, and prosperity for all.

🌟 Giving Back Where It All Begins – Kinloss Primary & Infant School 🌟

On Saturday, August 9th, the Friends of Trelawny Association (FOTA), through the support of our dedicated local chapter, had the joy and honor of giving back to the young hearts of Kinloss Primary and Infant School during a vibrant Back-to-School Fun Day and Giveaway, hosted by the Kinloss Connections Foundation.

It was more than just school supplies—it was a day filled with laughter, unity, and love. FOTA proudly presented educational materials, and essential items to help prepare these bright young minds for a successful school year ahead.

We believe in the power of community and connection, and this day was a reminder that when we come together, we create lasting impact. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children and families reminded us why we do what we do.

🙏🏾 A heartfelt thank you to the Kinloss Connections Foundation for organizing this meaningful event and to all the volunteers and supporters who made the day special. The future is brighter because we’re building it together.
