"When I got pregnant, for the first time I started to limit myself, shut down, feel self-conscious, and stop speaking up.

I thought that when people would see my belly pump, they would assume I wasn't as committed to my work. And breastfeeding for a year, while working, further diminished my self-confidence while trying to "do it all."

There's an opportunity to drastically improve as it pertains to the care of women, young children, affordable education, healthcare, and elderly care.

Most of the challenges I faced had to do with the lack of infrastructure and policies that brands have the power to change."
