đź’› We are so excited to welcome OT Gaviston Donald, our wonderful occupational therapist, back to Smiles for Speech in Tamale, Ghana!

At the heart of our work is a commitment to building local capacity and bringing opportunities for care where they are needed most.

Gaviston Donald will support our little learners and work alongside our team to strengthen a curriculum rooted in communication, independence, and everyday life skills.

It’s about more than therapy. It’s about sharing knowledge, growing together, and building something that will last. 💛

đź’› One of the most beautiful parts of our work in Ghana is the relationships we continue to build.

We are so grateful for our collaboration with Yumba School, the largest school serving children with disabilities in Tamale, Ghana.

It was such a joy to have their Headmistress join us for our Caregiver Wellness Event. 🥰

We are learning from one another, supporting families, and working together to create more opportunities for children with disabilities.

We shared with our Project 2026 team what the children’s home needed—and they showed up with full hearts and full bags. 🥹❤️

Formula, diapers, baby wipes, clothes, toys, shoes, and water—all given with love.

Thank you for helping these precious children feel cared for. And to the incredible woman caring for them every day: your love, patience, and dedication moved us deeply. God bless you and the beautiful work you do. We’re so grateful to be a small part of it. 🙏🏾
