Social practice non profit, headed by Yvonne Shortt, that takes a multi prong approach (art +tech +design) to address community issues in NYC.

10/07/2026

This Saturday October 10th (12 to 3 near barking lot) we will be in Forest Park for our Craft Cooperative again. We’ll be sharing yarn and crochet needles to learn to crochet or just crochet and chat with neighbors. We’ll be showing how to turn soil into paint also. Lastly come and harvest sunflower seeds from our sunflower heads for planting next season.

Forest park craft collective first meeting

We love working in NYC parks, using art to encourage teamwork and connection between parents and children. We know that patterns of bullying can carry forward into adulthood. Creating spaces for healthy interaction through art today helps shape more compassionate futures. Thank you Dove and Councilmember Holden for funding these types of projects.
