Today at , AJC and the Jewish Representative Council of Ireland announced a formal partnership to deepen cooperation in combating antisemitism and strengthening Jewish life in Ireland.

This is AJC’s 43rd international Jewish community partnership and it comes at a significant moment for Ireland’s Jewish community, amid growing concerns about anti-Jewish hate, social exclusion, and a broader sense of vulnerability experienced by many Irish Jews.

The agreement builds on years of close and impactful collaboration, including engagement with Irish officials and joint efforts surrounding Herzog Park in Dublin, which helped spark a wider public conversation about historical memory and the place of Jewish life in Irish society.

At 2026, Masih Alinejad, one of the world's most courageous voices against the Iranian regime and its destructive activities throughout the Middle East, delivered a powerful message about confronting the forces of extremism and terror that oppress millions from Tehran to Gaza and have brought devastation to Israelis and Palestinians alike.

We honored her with AJC's Moral Courage Award in 2022, and we were proud to welcome her back amid this consequential moment in history.

As Estonia marks 100 years since becoming the first country to grant cultural autonomy to its Jewish community, Minister Tsahkna reflected on both this historic milestone and the importance of defending freedom and democratic values in the face of modern threats.

He underscored the importance of standing together against the dangers posed by authoritarian regimes like Russia and Iran, emphasizing that boosting European defense spending is vital to protecting global freedom and security.

We are grateful for Estonia’s principled leadership and enduring friendship with the Jewish people.
