Sloan Foundation Public Understanding of Science & Technology

Sloan Foundation Public Understanding of Science & Technology Sloan's "Public Understanding of Science & Technology Program" supports realistic depictions of science and scientists in media and popular culture.

The Public Understanding Program aims to build bridges between the "two cultures" of science and the humanities by partnering with leading artists and scientists to reach a broad audience. We support books, theater, film, television, radio, and new media that tell compelling stories with scientific and technological themes and characters.
