NYDF Global Platform The NYDF Platform aims to accelerate progress on the New York Declaration on Forests goals to end deforestation by 2030 and restore 150 mil ha of land.

The New York Declaration on Forests (NYDF) outlines ten ambitious global targets to protect and restore forests and end natural forest loss by 2030 and has been endorsed by over 190 countries, sub-national governments, companies, indigenous peoples and NGOs to date. The NYDF Platform seeks to increase ambition, forge new partnerships and accelerate progress on the NYDF goals. The NYDF Platform wil

l be convened by UNDP, serving as its secretariat in partnership with Meridian Institute and Climate Advisers, and will collaborate closely with and be informed by the NYDF Progress Assessment.
