USY is USCJโ€™s youth group of Conservative Jewish teens across North America. For more than 60 years, USY has taught young Jews the values and skills they need to become exceptional leaders in their religious and secular communities. USY empowers youth to develop friendships, leadership skills, a sense of belonging to the Jewish People, and a commitment to inspired Jewish living through meaningful and fun experiences rooted in Conservative Judaismโ€™s approach to learning, spiritual expression, and social responsibility. Through year round programming and domestic and international travel opportunities, USY inspires in teens a deep sense of pride and love for their Jewish identity.

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Three Years Since October 7th

Three years ago, our world changed. On this day in 2023, the Jewish people experienced the deadliest attack since the Holocaust โ€” over 1,200 lives taken, hundreds taken hostage, communities destroyed. The pain of that day, and of all that has followed, remains with us still.

Today we remember each precious soul who was murdered. We honor the soldiers and first responders who have given their lives in the war that followed. And we stand in solidarity with Am Yisrael โ€” in mourning, in strength, and in unshakable hope for a future of peace and security.

May their memory be a blessing

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ In Memory โ€” Iron Swords War Memorial Day

Today we pause as a community to honor the memory of the soldiers, first responders, and civilians who were murdered or fell in battle since October 7th, and to hold their families and loved ones in our hearts.

We stand together with Klal Yisrael in grief, in resilience, and in hope as we lift up the Prayer for the State of Israel, asking for strength for the wounded, comfort for the bereaved, and peace for the land and all who dwell within it.

May their memory be a blessing
