We are aware that some people were disappointed in the results of last week's meeting from the Orca RecoveryTask Force. Everyone were asking the Dams to be Breached by 2018. It only makes sense for the that have been starving to the verge into extinction.

Our other concern that was not mentioned was the proposed expansion of the Trans Mountain Pipelines from Canada. A possible oil spill could devastate the lives of the SRKWs and the environment. For months we have been mourning for Tahlequah's calf and Scarlet J50's passing. Also, among the previous deaths and the recent announcement of pregnant orcas. Was the OTF a distraction? Mind you that Gov. Inslee maybe running for presidency in 2020. This will be his call of duty to ask the ACOE to Breach the Dams by next month. Let's hope he will make the right decision.
